Privacy notice
Updated 11 August 2026
This notice describes how MeshWorks Wireless Oy processes the personal data you provide via the website contact form. Processing is governed by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data controller
MeshWorks Wireless Oy (Business ID 2119271-8) Hatanpään valtatie 48, FI-33900 Tampere, Finland Email: tietosuoja@kuivurivahti.fi Phone: +358 45 125 9000
2. What we collect
Through the contact form we collect the name, email address, phone number (optional) and message content you provide. If you tell us on the form how you heard about us, we record that too. We also record which language the form was filled in and whether you arrived at the form via the order button. We do not collect this information from other sources. Providing the information is voluntary, but without a name, an email address and a message we cannot answer your enquiry. The technical operation of the service additionally processes ordinary log data, such as your IP address, to keep the service running and secure. Log data is deleted automatically after a short period. We also track the number of enquiries statistically. For this we separately record when the enquiry arrived, the language of the form, whether an order was intended, whether delivery of the message succeeded, and what you told us about how you heard of us. This statistical record contains no name, email address, phone number, message content or IP address.
3. Purpose and legal basis
We process the information primarily in order to answer your enquiry and to prepare a possible contract at your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). To the extent an enquiry does not relate to preparing a contract, processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). We process the statistical information described in section 2 on the basis of our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in monitoring how many enquiries we receive, in making sure the contact form is working, and in knowing how customers find us where they choose to tell us. We do not use this information for targeted marketing. We do not profile visitors and we do not make decisions based on automated processing that would have legal effects concerning you.
4. Retention
We retain enquiry messages for at most 12 months from the enquiry, unless the matter leads to a customer relationship. Information from enquiries that lead to a customer relationship is transferred to our customer register, where it is retained for the duration of the customer relationship and for at most five years after it ends. Accounting material is retained for the periods required by the Accounting Act. We retain the statistical information described in section 2 for 24 months, after which it is deleted automatically. That period covers two harvest seasons, so that seasons can be compared with each other.
5. Recipients and processors
The website runs on the platform of Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) and its EU entities. Cloudflare acts as a processor: it hosts the website, delivers the form message, and receives mail addressed to myynti@kuivurivahti.fi. The form message is delivered by email to myynti@kuivurivahti.fi and is forwarded from there to a MeshWorks Wireless Oy mailbox hosted by Microsoft (Microsoft 365). Microsoft likewise acts as a processor. The message is read and answered there. The statistical information described in section 2 is stored in a Cloudflare database located within the European Union. Information may be processed outside the European Union. Those transfers are based on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, which are included in the data processing agreements we have with our processors. You can obtain a copy of the standard contractual clauses by requesting one from tietosuoja@kuivurivahti.fi. We do not disclose the information for marketing purposes.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access the information concerning you, to rectify inaccurate information, to request erasure or restriction of processing, and to have the information transferred. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi). Right to object. Where processing is based on our legitimate interest — that is, responding to enquiries that do not concern preparing a contract, and the statistics described in section 2 — you have the right to object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. Write to tietosuoja@kuivurivahti.fi and we will stop the processing unless there are compelling legitimate grounds to continue.
7. Privacy contact
For privacy-related requests, contact: tietosuoja@kuivurivahti.fi.
8. Cookies
This site sets no cookie in your browser at all unless you choose the site language yourself. When you choose a language, we store that choice in a NEXT_LOCALE cookie, valid for 12 months, so that the site opens in your chosen language in future. The cookie is necessary to provide that function and is not used for anything else. We use no tracking or analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no other tracking technology stored on or read from your device. Enquiry statistics are compiled entirely on the server, and nothing is stored on your device for that purpose.
